In this course, students will learn the essential skills necessary to design and create sound effects for film, television, and advertising. They will learn about the theory of sound design, the various tools and techniques used in sound design, and the roles and responsibilities of sound designers in the film, television, and advertising industries.

1. Introduction to Sound Design

2. Sound Effects Design
– Understanding the concept of sound effects design

3. Foley Stage
– Understanding the role and responsibilities of the Foley stage in sound design
– Learning how to create and record Foley effects

4. Dialogue Editing
– Understanding the role and responsibilities of dialogue editing in sound design
– Learning how to edit and clean up dialogue recordings

5. Music for Film and Advertising
